Privacy Policy

1. Intro

The SkyTracks app can only be used in conjunction with your SkyTrack subscription, which is entered into between You and SkyTrack ApS.

The purpose of the privacy policy is solely to inform you about how we process, protect, and store the personal information that you have provided to us or that we have collected. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the EU Regulation on Data Protection, we are responsible for your personal informations.

The privacy policy is a supplement to, but does not replace, other policies or SkyTracks terms and conditions established between You and SkyTrack. The SkyTrack app uses third-party services to collect information that can be used to identify you as a user. You are welcome to contact us if you have any questions about our handling of your data.

2. Data controller.

SkyTrack is responsible for processing, protecting, and storing the personal information that you have provided to us or that we have collected. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the EU Regulation on Data Protection, we are responsible for your personal information (General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016).

3. Storage and Processing

We store all the data we collect and gather about you within the "EEA" (the European Economic Area). Data is not transferred to third countries (countries outside the EEA).

Your data is only stored for the period during which you have an active subscription with SkyTrack.

 

4. Data Handling

To protect your data against unauthorized use and unauthorized access or disclosure, we have internal procedures and rules for information security. These are described with instructions and measures specifically designed to protect your personal information. We continuously back up our server facilities to prevent data loss. All data is protected by extensive encryption in a cloud-based environment, behind the latest updated firewalls.

 

Your data will not be disclosed or sold to external third parties unless explicitly required by law. Within the framework of the General Data Protection Regulation, SkyTrack may disclose the information processed about you to authorities or partners to the extent necessary to administrate the subscription agreement between you and SkyTrack. In case of doubt or in the event of a security breach, we will notify you as soon as possible to minimize the risk of identity theft and any other significant inconvenience. If information must be processed by partners, data processors, or public authorities on behalf of SkyTrack ApS, the data will always be encrypted and subject to a written confidentiality and/or data processing agreement.

 

5. Processing

Personal data collected and processed by SkyTrack ApS are data we have received in connection with the creation of your subscription.

Data may include the following:

Name, address, postal code, city, email address, phone numbers, contract number, vehicle information, routes, times, addresses, username, and subscription type.

Furthermore, a log of your activity in the app is kept, as well as registration of the type of hardware registered for login.

 

6. Information Collection

Personal information in the app may be collected through various technologies, platforms (including public registers), but will often be provided by you yourself in connection with the purchase of a subscription with SkyTrack.

By using the app, you agree that we collect information about the hardware you are using.

Collected information may possibly be combined and constitutes a process.

We inform you about the purpose and which data we process when you provide personal information to us. With reference to relevant privacy policy or in the form of separate information, we may request acceptance for the processing.

 

7. Purpose

The SkyTrack app solely serves the purpose of providing data for you as a subscriber to SkyTrack.

Your personal information is processed depending on the agreement you have entered with SkyTrack. Most often, this will be based on Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation

 

8. Principles

- Personal data is collected solely for specific and legitimate purposes.

- Personal data is always processed in a manner where appropriate protection is applied.

- Personal data is never stored longer than necessary for the purpose for which the information was collected.

- Personal data is continuously updated. Inaccurate personal data is deleted or corrected without unnecessary delay.

- Personal data is deleted when it no longer serves the purpose for which it was originally collected.

- Personal data is processed solely in a lawful manner in relation to the data subject.

 

9. Rights

If you wish to exercise your rights under the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation regarding our processing of information about you, you must contact us.

  • Right to rectification. You generally have the right to have incorrect personal information about you corrected.
  • Right to access information. You have the right to receive a range of information when companies, authorities, and organizations process information about you.
  • Right to erasure. You generally have the right to have your personal information deleted if one of a number of conditions mentioned in the General Data Protection Regulation is met.
  • Right to insight. You have the right to see the personal information the data controller processes about you and receive a range of information about the processing.
  • Right to object. You have the right to object to otherwise lawful processing of your personal information.
  • Right to restriction of processing. You have the right to have the processing of your personal information restricted if one of a number of conditions is met.
  • Right to data portability. In certain cases, you have the right to receive your personal information and request that the information be transferred from one data controller to another.
  • Right not to be subject to automated decision-making. You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling
